Students in the monolingual Progymnasium are working towards admission to the monolingual upper school of the Gymnasium. This is why the teaching is only slightly different to the lower school of the Gymnasium. Instead of Latin, mathematics, German and French are taught in depth, while textile and three-dimensional design are also on the curriculum. Performance is assessed on a specifically Progymnasium basis.
Over the course of class 2, our students can, depending on their performance in the second and third quarters, qualify for an examination-free transition to the upper school of the Gymnasium of Freies Gymnasium Zürich.
