The school association and school board

The school association of Freies Gymnasium Zürich is the trustee of the school. Its purpose and duties, which are enshrined in the articles of association, are to prepare students for admission to university. While it follows business principles, it is not profit-oriented.

Among other tasks, the board is responsible for selecting the school management and tenured teachers, determining the tuition fees and managing the property. All board members work on a voluntary basis.
