Preparatory class 6 (V6) is for good students from primary class 5 working towards entry to our Gymnasium or Progymnasium. This is where the foundation is laid, which should enable the transition to our Gymnasium or Progymnasium without taking any exams.
Subject teachers take our preparatory classes. The lessons are preparatory (pre-Gymnasium) in nature. If there are still gaps in basic German and mathematics, we focus on rectifying these deficiencies through more focused tuition.
FGZ works in a performance-oriented and nurturing way. It is important to us that the students in the preparatory classes can study in a relaxed but focused atmosphere. FGZ follows a day school structure. This enables us to give students full support. Lunch is in the school’s own canteen. At the end of the school day, the study support team supervise the children as they complete their homework or provide further learning support.
