The lower school of the Gymnasium follows primary class 6, or our preparatory classes and is characterised, among other things, by its family setting and manageable class sizes. The aim of the Gymnasium is to “provide pupils with fundamental knowledge with a view to lifelong learning and to promote their intellectual openness and the ability to make independent judgements” (Art. 5 of the Maturitätsanerkennungsreglement) (regulations governing recognition of the Matura), thereby enabling them to access all universities.
